In partnership with the National Building Museum and artist Blue Robin, Transform DC is a high school Cornerstone unit focused on collaborative mural making and public art. Students engage in the process of designing and creating large-scale murals that reflect community values, tell stories, and inspire change in public spaces. Through hands-on workshops, students not only develop their artistic techniques but also explore the social impact of public art, gaining a deeper understanding of how their creations can shape and transform urban environments. Transform DC empowers young artists to leave a lasting visual legacy in their communities. The event will take place on May 29th, 2025.
