Build Day, in partnership with the Hirshhorn Museum and Boolean Girl, is the grand finale of the Enchanted City Cornerstone unit, serving as a vibrant celebration of creativity and innovation. During this event, students bring their imaginative visions to life by constructing architectural sculptures that reflect their ideas of what their city could and should be. It’s an opportunity for students to apply their learning, creativity, and problem-solving skills as they design and build structures that represent their aspirations for a better, more thoughtful urban landscape. Through this hands-on experience, students not only showcase their artistic talents but also engage in meaningful discussions about community, architecture, and the possibilities for shaping the future of their city.
